March 27, 2010 was a BIG day for Brianna not only did she turn 6 years old and have a party but she was also an IPOP contestant in Lubbock, Texas. We arrived at the Radisson Hotel to find the place packed with people eager to get their chance of fame. Fortunately, Brianna was able to stay composed and performed excellent when it came her time to audition. Brianna was selected to attend the second round of call-backs and meet one on one with an IPOP director to see if she had what it took to be a participant in IPOP Las Vegas. She was a little nervous but performed great for the second time and was officially asked to be part of IPOP Las Vegas to compete in the acting and modeling competitions.
After talking with the director we were informed that the total cost would be $5,800. This includes room, lessons, and participation fees. Now, I know this is a lot of money but this is something that our daughter is really excited about. We have decided to start off by asking friends and family for sponsorships. We will also be conducting raffles in the next few weeks. I will be adding a paypal donation button for those of you interested in sponsoring from this site. Anything will be greatly appreciated.
The official competition is scheduled for July 5-9. While there Brianna will get a chance to compete in front of selective television and model agents that are brought in to see the showcase of talent from different areas. We are really excited about this and I plan to keep everyone updated along the way with videos and pictures.
